Stephanie M. shares on Yelp, “Two words: WHALE SHARKS! As in plural! As in, they have two! I have always loved whale sharks as a small child and never thought I would be able to see one IRL. But there I was, a 37-year-old grown woman who let out a high pitch squeal as I turned the corner and saw these massive, majestic creatures. I just sat cross-legged at the base of the tank with all the other small children looking up in awe and wonder. I honestly could have sat there for hours. The party I was with even contemplated just leaving me there. The other parts of this aquarium are really cool as well. I also really loved seeing the puffins and dolphins. The penguin exhibit, where you can crawl under and pop your head up into their habitat, was really fun. You will never forget the moment when you first make very close eye contact with one of these adorable, waddling, tuxedo-wearing birds. If you are traveling in Atlanta with small children or are a child at heart like myself, this is a really great experience to do while in town.”
